A German combination lock with wheel and matchlock ignition,circa 1580. A smooth lockplate with a dome-shaped,exterior wheel cover. Spring loaded pan cover,exterior safety. Springs and levers on both the exterior and interior bear beautifully cut ornamentation. The match ignition release mechanism and a few screws are very good replacements. Old copper solder repair at the main spring mounting. Length 30 cm.
