As it was Decorated for the Auto Parade Given Durinpr the Perry Centennial the First Week iii August at Mihvaulcee, Wis. that he does not always know what is already in the trade or what the other fellow may likewise introduce. In sweet peas more than one grower has discovered the same "break" in a variety, named and sent it out. The English sweet pea trial grounds offer a good example of what may be ac- complished in detecting these and in inducing growers to adopt the same name. It is hoped that some action may be taken by this great organization, which should take the lead in the solution of this matter, as well as of all questions affecting the permanence and dignity of the indus- try.
