Over 700 Soldiers and military personnel from the 25th Infantry Division and supporting units participated in the 2nd annual "Operation Iraqi Freedom Great Aloha Run" on Contingency Operating Base Speicher, near Tikrit, Iraq, Feb. 8. The six-mile race originated in Hawaii 25 years ago with the 25th ID and serves as an event to bring a little bit of Hawaii to Soldiers in support of OIF and Task Force Lightning.
