Relief from an Offering Niche, First Intermediate Period, Dynasty 9–10, ca. 2100–2010 , From Egypt, Memphite Region, Saqqara, Teti Pyramid Cemetery, SAE 1905–1906, Limestone, paint, H. 26 cm (10 1/4 in); w. 52 cm (20 1/2 in); th. cm (5 9/16 in), This block faced was located on one side of a nichs on the exterior of a mud brick mastaba at Saqqara; the back part of the niche would have held a false-door stela. The block shows an offering list, a group of funerary priests, and butchers in the register below
