Main entrance to Abdullakhan Madrasah (educational institution) or Abdulaziz Khan Madrassah, Bukhara Old Town, Uzbekistan. Abdullakhan madrasah is located on Khodja Nurobobod street, in the north of the Koshmadrasa ensemble This madrasah, is a beutiful example of the architecture of the Uzbek ruler Abdullah II, it demonstrates the creative achievements of Bukhara architecture in the XVIth century. Please note that contrary to the Islamic architectural tradition, figurative representations and greater realism of floral and plant decoration.
