Suda Bay War Cemetery is located close to Chania (Xania) on the island of Crete, set in an olive grove, it contains casualties from both World War One and Two, but in the main from the battle of Crete in May 1941, which followed the German’s invasion of the island. The cemetery is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
