Isadora Dolores Ibarruri Gomez (1895 - 1989), known as Pasionaria was a Spanish Republican fighter of the Spanish Civil War of 1936-1939 and a communist politician known for her famous slogan No Pasaran! ("They shall not pass") issued during the Battle for Madrid in November 1936.
