In the enclosure of the work-house yard, we believe, the bodies of the British soldierskilled at Bunker Hill were laid out, in the order of theirregiments and companies, previous to interment. The old almshouse was pulled down in the year 1800,and in the early part of the century the large building. shown in the engraving was erected for and occupied byJonathan Amory.
