This kind is common in a wild ftate in Egypt,at the Cape of Good Hope, and in various parts ofthe intermediate territories of Africa, whence theyhave been brought into, and domefticated in thisand other civilized countries, and are now an ad-mired ornament on many pieces of water contiguousto gentlemens feats; but neither the author norhis correfpondents were able to procure a fpecimenof this or the two preceding fpecies, for the pur-pofe of making drawings. ^ M^i.
