Knoydart, UK. 24th March, 2013. A hill fire on the remote Knoydart Peninsula in North West Scotland threatened the small community of Doune on the north coast of the peninsula. There are no roads to Knoydart, access is by boat from Mallaig or a long walk on foot. Local residents and volunteers responded to fight the fire.
