The Old Kiln Light Railway at the Rural Life Centre, Tilford, Surrey with Orenstein & Koppel engine Elouise.

The Old Kiln Light Railway - The railway, operated by a group of volunteers who have collected and preserved rolling stock and diesel and steam locomotives, is of particular interest to railway enthusiasts. The line is in operation on Sundays and bank holidays, in the main season, to provide rides for children of all ages! Engine shown is Elouise, and 0-6-0WT built in 1922 by Orenstein and Koppel of Berlin. Works No. 9998. Supplied new to the Portuguese forestry commission via an O&K agent in Madrid, Spain. (Hence the works plates say Madrid even though she was built in Berlin.)
