The disk is nearly an inch broad,and the rays above half an inch thick at their was the original discoverer of the Cribella found it on the Norwegian coast, and figures it of abright rose colour. The Cribella oculata would appear alsoto be found in the same region, and has been observed onthe coast of France. The genus extends its range to theWest Indies. PURPLE SUN-STAR. 109 ASTERIADJE.
