Members of a military medical response team prepare to start a training scenario during a week-long training event at the San Antonio Military Medical Center, Texas designed to prepare them to, if requested, assist civilian medical professionals in the United States. Half of the medical personnel are from the Army and the rest are from the Air Force and Navy (15 Army; 6 Air Force; 9 Navy). Most of the people come from installations in the San Antonio area. The trainers come from USAMRIID, Frederick, Md.
