A black bag, most probably containing dog faeces, hanging from a bush alongside a byway in rural East Sussex.
Responsible dog owners are encouraged to clean up after their pet has made a mess on a public path, urban or rural. unfortunately it is becoming a common sight in rural areas, especially at the side of public footpaths, to see small polythene bags containing dog faeces hanging from trees and bushes. Admittedly the dog owner has cleared the mess from a place where other walkers may tread in it but who do they think will come round and gather up the bags left on dangling on the trees and bushes?
