Race participants take photos with Marines supporting the Marine Corps Marathon 10K before the start of the race at the National Mall in Washington, , Oct. 30, 2022. The MCM10K is hosted the same day as the 47th Marine Corps Marathon. Runners participated in the marathon not only to support the Marine Corps and their country, but to have the unique experience of running on an iconic course with the Marines after months of commitment and dedication to training for a lifetime goal.
