The image shows the ruins of President Poincare's son's Chateau in St. Benoit, Meuse, France, which were occupied by the 56th Brigade Hdqrs. of the 28th Division. The photograph passed the censor, although the date of approval is unknown. This information was documented by photographer number B on December 27, 1918.
