The Bragg Family Windows, Right Hand Light:- God the Holy Spirit. Church of Saint Mary the Virgin, Wigton, Cumbria, England.

The three Bragg Family Windows were commissioned by Lord Melvyn Bragg to commemorate members of his family. The windows were designed by Brian Campbell and were manufactured and installed by Alex Haynes in 2009. The windows are installed on the North side of the church to replace what were formerly plain windows. The window illustrated is the right hand window: God the Holy Spirit. The inscription is " I WILL LIFT UP MINE EYES TO THE HILLS FROM WHENCE COMETH MY HELP" a quotation from Psalm 121, Verse 1. The window is "DEDICATED TO ALMIGHTY GOD. GIVEN BY MELVYN BRAGG IN THANKSGIVING FOR MARGARET, FRED, WILSON AND IRWIN BRAGG. 2009". The image shows the lower portion of the window. The window depicts the Moore Memorial Fountain; the buildings of Market Hill and the Cenotaph; curving under the bridge is the River Wiza and lilies identify the Virgin Mary.
