Sustrans the sustainable transport charity have opened a a bike hub adjacent to their Newcastle upon Tyne offices called The Journey. Working in conjunction with the charity "Recyke Y bike" they offer secondhand bikes for sale. There is also a café, bike parking and maintenance facilities, and a source of cycling related information, maps etc.
