The United Nations Command Security Battalion-Joint Security Area secures the Military Armistice Commission Headquarters Area in order to maintain conditions of the Armistice and protect all United Nations Command personnel, Tae Sung Dong residents, Neutral Nations Supervisory Committee personnel and visitors to Camp Bonifas and the Joint Security Area.
