MIUWU-109 is one of the key all-reserve units attached to Naval Coastal Warfare Group One (NCWG-1) forward deployed to handle force protection responsibilities at Camp Patriot. Camp Patriot is home to nearly 3,000 active duty and reserve Sailors, Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Coast Guardsmen forward deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
