The fossil is a mass of solid columns showing the pores on the sides of the tubes. Specimens verify Lonsdale's observation that a single and a double row of pores exist together even on one and the same column, Favosites helderbergise. Hall, 26th An. H. Stromatopora led. Low. Mah. t., Northumberland Co. (376).—A large mass of it, weathered VJII-a.
