View SE of the NE cell & rising stairs within the double wall of Dun Fiadhairt Iron Age broch, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK. Entrance to the stairs is from the circular central court (R) measuring c across within a double wall c thick still standing up to 2m high. The stairs would have led to higher levels within the broch tower. The broch was excavated in 1914 by Countess Vincent Baillet de Latour FSA (Scot), a Roman terracotta model of a bale of hides or fleeces was found. To the rear are Loch Dunvegan & Dunvegan Castle.
