A380 Airbus F dash WWOW registration number taxis back to the runway apron ready to be pushed back into the static park on main runway at Farnborough Airshow 2006 after its flying display flight . Flaps and spoilers at the rear and slats on the leading edge of the enormous wings now retracted after landing . This Airbus is the largest flying passenger airliner in the world . The twin deck aircraft can carry about 555 people which is more than the Boeing 747 jumbo built by Airbus main competitor . Built by a consortium of French British German and Spanish it is truly a symbol of international cooperation . It is a joint venture between European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company EADS and BAE Systems . This wide bodied double deck aircraft flew everyday in the air display at the Farnborough Airshow in July . Many of the world s busiest airports are having to change their terminal buildings to accommodate the A380 . Airbus headquarters is in Toulouse France .
