Oxford, England - 28 October 2019 If you shoot many thousands of images every year (which I do), then you're bound to have the occasional photographic accidents. And these almost always end up in the bin. But, ever so rarely, something exciting happens. Like here. I still don't know how it happened, but an extended shoot in Oxford somehow ended up having this image in the middle. It looks like I somehow released the shutter whilst swinging the camera. And the result, straight from the sensor (after a quick fold and inversion), is this fantastic galactic whirlpool!
