Around the UK - A weir on the River Yarrow on the outskirts of Chorley, Lancashire, UK

Yarrow Valley Country Park is located between Chorley and Coppull, created on land previously used for bleaching, dyeing, calico printing and mining, One of the mills that utilised water from this river was leased to Richard Arkwright. Another was a corn mill. One of a number of my images available on Alamy showing remains from the Industrial Revolution.
