Kashmir valley shutdown on Monday due to a complete strike call issued to commemorate the anniversaries of the two separatist leaders Molvi Farooq, Gani Lone and Hawal massacre victims as establishments and educational institutions remained closed in the valley The summer capital of Kashmir "Srinagar" particularly old city have been kept under restrictions to prevent protests and other unlawful activities. Molvi farooq was one of the respectful leaders and was later killed in 1990 while gani Lone was killed during the commemoration of his anniversary in the year 2002. In 1990 more than 50 people were killed in Hawal area of downtown Srinagar when government forces opened fire on mourners carrying the dead body of Molvi Farooq.
