Description of holotype Colony growing on a polyzoan and consisting of slender, straggling stemsoften reattaching to one another and to the polyzoan and producing a tangledirregular growth one or two centimetres in height. Stem unfascicled or lightlyfascicled, unbranched or branching irregularly and in any plane, unsegmented,geniculate, bearing alternate hydrothecae on short apophyses which arise at theelbows.
