Town of Wallasey, England. Artistic view of Fort Perch Rock located at the mouth of the River Mersey Estuary. Fort Perch Rock was constructed on the Mersey estuary as a coastal defence battery during the 1820’s. The fort was decommissioned in 1954 and is now a museum and visitor attraction. This photograph has been produced by merging three differently exposed images of the same scene. All of which were captured at approximately the same time - on a tripod mounted camera – and digitally processed to produce the resulting artistic rendition of the scene.
