WEST MIDLANDS; DUDLEY; BLACK COUNTRY LIVING MUSEUM; PULPIT AND PEWS PROVIDENCE CHAPEL 1837


Interior the 19th century Providence Methodist Chapel with pulpit and pews. It was built in 1837 in Netherton, Dudley and played a central part in the community for 140 years. It had a tradition for choral singing and provided a Sunday School and a Doctors' Club which gave medical assistance to the poorer members of the congregation It has now been rebuilt at the Black Country Living Museum
