It has taken Pete Sparks 40 hours to paint red polker dots all over his cafe beside the route of the Tour de France which starts in Leeds on July 5th. The tour will pass Bank View Cafe in Langsett, South Yorkshire on the second day's stage shortly after peloton has climbed to the highest point of the day in The Peak District. It has taken Pete Sparks 40 hours to paint red polker dots all over his cafe beside the route of the Tour de France which starts in Leeds on July 5th. The tour will pass Bank View Cafe in Langsett, South Yorkshire on the second day's stage shortly after peloton has climbed to the highest point of the day in The Peak District. A red polker dot jersey will be worn by the rider who is first to the top. On the day of the race there will be a competition to guess the number of spots painted on the cafe. Proceeds raised will be given to charity.
