Next to the hotel still going east is the BIssell house,the fourth oldest house now standing in the village. It wasbuilt by William Marsh in 1761. About three-quarters of a mile east, at a fork of the roadstands a very interesting old house built in 1796, now ownedby Edson Perkins. The first house erected on West street now standing Isthe George Kenney house, built by Eli Smith in 1780.
