Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr. is received by an honor guard of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers at the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv, Oct. 18, 2015, accompanied by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot. This is CJCS Dunford’s first overseas visit since assuming command of the military. The visit continues a steady exchange of dialogue and cooperation between the military leaders of both nations in what has been a strong and enduring partnership.
