Ironwork gate and fence, along with the front of 1884 restored Victorian-era North Dakota Governors' Mansion (1893-1960) in Bismarck, North Dakota . Asa Fisher was the original owner and later sold the residence to the State of North Dakota for $ in 1893. In 1898 Governor Frank Briggs died in the master bedroom of the mansion due to tuberculosis. Many believe his spirit and perhaps others haunt this house today.
