Sperm preparation. Technician using a pipette to remove semen from a container to prepare it for artificial insemination. The health of the sperm cells in the semen will be studied, and the sperm cells will be separated from the seminal fluid by centrifuge. After the healthy sperm cells have been selected, they will be introduced into the intended mother's reproductive system.
