Buy- ers who use a quantity of this most popular Easter blooming plant, will find it to their interest to place their orders for next season's wants early, thereby securing the choice of the stock at lowest cost for transportation, as the plants can be forwarded with perfect safety during October, by fast freight, even to the most distant points. Our attention is frequently directed to other grow- ers and dealers offering Azaleas of the same diameter as herein quoted, at much lower prices. We wish to say in reference to this stock, that there is more than one way of measuring an Azalea, and while a plant may measure 15 iuches in diameter, it may be really worth less than another plant that only measures 12 inches in diameter. Most of this stock is grown on quickly without sufficient cuttiug back, the idea being to get a plant so many inches in diameter. As a rule this stock is distributed by some novice in the Azalea trade without personal inspection of the stock, who has been lured on by the vivid descriptions and prospects of large profits as offered to him by the Belgian growers. We would here say that we do not offer our stock in competition with this class of plants. We have been handling Azaleas as a specialty for many years ; last year we distributed nearly 25,000 plants, almost without a single complaint of any Azaleas. Our prices are as low as first-class, bushy, well budded stock can be supplied for, and we are certain that they will give entire satisfaction. Our growers in Belgium are among the most suc- cessful men handling Azaleas ; they have been spec- ialists in this line for many .years, and their principal stock is sent to us.
