T=Trio) Each leaf before being put in place was prepared by bending the pinnules of one half over, one by one, and backward. When the ridgepole was finally covered along its length with a thickness of leaves their pinnules were kept in place by means of two outside laths which were each sewn in two or three places to the rafters below.
