The dilapidated Laigh Milton Mill, which stands in an idyllic setting by the River Irvine near Crosshouse, has been an eyesore for years. Several permissions have been granted to turn this building into 12 flats, but none of the contractors have done anything. The work didn’t go ahead and the place is now in a worse state than ever. The building used to be a restaurant circa 1988.
