The remains of the trawler Dayspring, built in 1958 at Herds. It was anchored offshore but bad weather drove it onto the beach at Lower Diabaig. The boat was originally built for Alex Souter, Lossiemouth and named Strathyre. It was 65 feet in length. Time and the weather has gradually destroyed the vessel.
