The Cocos are admirable for fern dishes, as they are of slow growth and main- tain their beauty for a long time. 3-inch pots, twelve inches high, 50c. each. RAPHIS FLABELLIFOBMIS. A Japanese variety of easy culture, succeeds in almost any position. The foliage is of a very rich, dark green color ; the habit of the plant is to sucker from the base, so that it forms a handsome bushy specimen. 6-inch pots, about 24 inches high, $ each. SEAFOBTHIA ELEGANS. One of the very best for ordinary purposes, of graceful habit, and rapid, easy growth. 50 cts. and $ each. OLEANDERS (NERIUM.) As a tub plant this has no rival. All the improved varieties bloom from May till October very pro- fusely. They love plenty of water and rich ground well manured. If the plants get too high plant them out in the open ground and cut down two or three feet and hundreds of young shoots will come up, forming: nice bushy plants.
