OUR MEASUREMENT OF PLANTS, where given, as in the case of Araucarias, Palms, etc., etc., means the height of the plant from the top of the pot to the top of the plant in its natural position. We make this explanation of our way of measuring as many growers contend that the proper measurement is from the bottom of the pot to the tip of the longest leaf, and make their offers in that way. AN^ INVITATION^ whenever possible, we solicit a personal inspection of our stock. Our Nurseries at Riverton, N. J., are within easy reach from either Philadelphia or New York (Time Tables on application), and something of interest will always be seen. We have considerably increased our facilities for the handling of Aquatic Plants, and our Water Lily Garden is now the largest and most complete in the world. This alone is well worth a visit from the most distant points. Aquatics are at their best from early July until late September. The collection not only includes large lots of the most popular sorts, but all the latest introductions and many new sorts of which we the entire stock, and which have not yet been disseminated ; the different varieties of Victorias luxuriate here, and, from present indications, feel safe in saying that one or more sorts will be found in flower any day during the ANTHURIUM Acacia Armata.
