EcoMeter wireless transmitter on a fuse box. This household has been installed with an EcoMeter, a device that can keep track of energy use by monitoring gas, water, electrical circuits and individual appliances. Here, the transmitter (upper left) picks up the current being used from a sensor inside the fuse box (see image T100/0138) and transmits the information elsewhere. The household's energy usage can be accessed online and can help the consumer to alter behaviour and implement energy saving measures.
