Hittite relief sculpted orthostat stone panel of Herald's Wall Basalt, Karkamıs, (Kargamıs), Carchemish (Karkemish), 900-700 Bird-headed, winged figures of human body. Anatolian Civilisations Museum, Ankara, Turkey. These figures are called as "Winged Griffin Demons". Embossing is constructed symmetrically. Their hands are on their heads. It is assumed that they carry the heavens.
