White, glazed porcelain with a scalloped gold and carmine red decorative edge and displaying the coats of arms of 1866 beneath the ducal crowns of Schleswig and Holstein on the border. 14 plates with the KPM manufacturer's mark with scepter (1849 - 1870) in underglaze blue as well as a red imperial orb, one plate with KPM markings from 1847 - 49, three plates unmarked.
