Wild Monkeys of Thailand. Taken on Koh Larn island an island 20 minutes by boat from Pattaya and live wild on a mountainside.
These pictures were taken on the mountainside next to the beach on Koh larn island in Thailand. The island is a 20 minute boat ride from Pattaya and the beach hosting the monkeys is called Nual Beach aka Monkey Beach. The vendors on the beach sell bananas to the tourists who feed the monkeys who are always open to bribery. The colony I am told has around 15 monkeys and are not at all shy when there is food around and willing to jump on your back and use any means to get at the food your offering. For any Photographer interested in Animal photography, I would recommend a trip to the island which has 6 beaches, numerous small hotels and safe shooting of the troupe on Nual beach.
