Cham, Germany: On the Hohenbogen near Furth im Wald mountain, the NATO has build defense installations against the eastern block

This installation is the caserne (the sector f) on the Hohenbogen mountain. NATO troops (US, French and German) used it to listen into the eastern block. The caserne was left by the Americans in 1992, the French in 1994 and finally shut down in 2004. Today, one of the towers is open for visitors.
