Giant Pumpkin Competition Southport, UK. 19th October, 2013. Mr Dave Turley, compere, with his entry at the Mere Brow Giant Pumpkin Competition. The event marks the 19th year of the event and as always raises as much money as possible for charity. HUGE pumpkins were on display at the annual celebration of the popular vegetable. Mere Brow is a small village in Lancashire, England, situated between Tarleton and Banks.
