Only one saint namedFinghin is mentioned in the Irish calendars.* St. Finghinsoriginal church at Quin, it need scarcely be said was severalcenturies older than the great Franciscan Monastery of thesame place. It is situated on the other side of the littleriver Rine, and its remains are in a tolerable state ofpresevation.
