Army Staff Sgt. Cory Cody, 211th Engineer Company, South Dakota Army National Guard, is named the 2018 SDARNG Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year, Sept. 9, 2018, in Rapid City, Cody, receiving the award from State Command Sgt. Maj. James Hoekman, will represent South Dakota at the Region 6 Best Warrior Competition scheduled to be held in North Dakota, spring 2019.
