Quezon City, Philippines. 25th Dec, 2015. A bright full moon light up the Yuletide sky of December 25 for the first time in 38 years. The full moon will reach its peak size at 6:11am. ET, or 7pm, Manila time. The last time this phenomenon happened was in 1977, and it won't happen again until 2034. Usually referred to as the "cold moon" because of the cold weather experienced during December in which winter is experienced by most countries.
