Al Nour Wal Amal Light and Hope is Egyptian orchestra from blind women
The Association Al Nour Wal Amal “Light & Hope”, was founded in 1954 from a team of women volunteers, as the first centre established in the Middle East for the education, vocational training and integration of blind girls in the society. The Orchestra Al Nour Wal Amal is composed of blind girls of each age and musical education, and performs in Egypt and abroad. The Orchestra includes all four sections: strings, woodwind, brass and percussions. The Orchestra began to travel abroad from 1988 and to date, has given important performances in the entire world, gaining the love and the admiration of the audience of each country in which it performs.
